Alex Greenhalgh is a Sydney based Stylist / Costume Designer

Alex Greenhalgh is a Gadigal-based Costume Designer and Stylist with over 8 years of industry experience across film, music, fashion, and commercial work. Her clients include Vera Blue, Peach PRC, Boy and Bear, Amy Shark and Sam Fischer. She is the Costume Designer for the upcoming 2025 feature film SCOBY, starring Emma Leonard and Jackie van Beek, and previously worked on the short film Repose (2024), alongside a range of TVCs.

An advocate for sustainability, Alex sources most of her wardrobe from second-hand outlets, vintage stores, and designer loans—an approach that reduces waste and keeps productions cost-effective. She champions emerging Gadigal-based designers and recent graduates, often incorporating their work into her projects.

In addition to her costume work, Alex is an accomplished jewellery designer, specialising in handcrafted silver rings. Her custom pieces frequently appear in her styling, adding a distinctive and personal touch to her work.

With a background in production at Collider and casting at Danny Long Casting and Peta Einberg Casting, Alex brings a well-rounded understanding of storytelling and collaboration to every set. Her passion lies in styling and costume design, where she uses colour, texture, and character-driven choices to enhance narrative and deepen visual impact.
